Hexagon Box

We had recently been on a short trip to the sea, for the summer. And while doing some shopping, I came across this amazing shop, Casablanca, which had some fabulous wrapper paper in some awesome colours and patterns. I really like the shape that comes out. And there you have it, yet another Christmas decoration to try out this year Model Details: Model: Sunken [Continued..]

So after trying her Penguin Bookmark last month, I folded the Magic Rose Cube next. The model is very beautiful, very elegant and is surprisingly easy to make! The magic rose is made from 6 units, 3 of them form the rose and 3 form the leaves. It looks [Continued..]

XYZ Diamond

The XYZ Diamonds is another planar origami model, made from 3 intersecting diamonds. The design is by Francis Ow, the well known folder/creator of origami hearts. Though it looks like there are only 3 planes, joined in the middle as though by magic(!), the planar model is actually made of 6 modules. Accuracy is required in folding the modules, else fitting each unit into the next is almost impossible. The first 4 modules can be [Continued..]
