The last wreath for this week is yet another wreath from Tomoko Fuse’s book ‘Origami Rings and Wreaths’ – another beautiful model that looks best on duo coloured paper or one that is printed on one side and solid on the other. A perfect model for using my new origami paper The wreath is a simple one, made from 12 squares of paper. I used 3 colours, blue, lavendar and yellow with corresponding prints on [Continued..]
Eifel Star, designed by Hans-Werner Guth, is the next in my rings and wreaths series. I am not really sure what I feel about this model. It is simple enough to fold and assembling them is also pretty easy. But the model was not too steady for me. I had used some Christmas wrapping paper and I love the mix of red and green in the ring. The ring is made from 16 squares. I had used 3 inch squares and the final ring measured about 4.5 inches in [Continued..]

The next rings that I want to talk on are the 3D rings that have suddenly fascinated me! I tried a few of these rings and I loved how they came out! If you haven’t tried out 3D rings, you should give them a go. They really make lovely decorations! So here is the Mette’s Ring, the Sun Dial and the Square 3D Ring. Another 3D ring that I found out recently is the Eifel [Continued..]
