The past few days have been a busy time for me, preparing for our church sale. I had made origami earrings and bookmarks and tiny bags to put the earrings in. And my sister-in-law had made cards, using some origami dresses and some other flowers and decorations that she had collected. She had also printed bookmarks and wall posters.

And the big day was yesterday :) Our sale was quite good. We managed to make more than what we had planned. Our stall was much appreciated, since this was one of the very few stalls that wasn’t for food!! :) Here are a few of the pics that we had taken..

Church Sale 01

Earrings. Managed to make about 30 pairs :)

And the bookmarks. Tomoko Fuse’s Little Turtle kusudama in the centre.

My sister-in-laws cards.

And finally, the bookmarks and the little origami bags for the earrings..

Nothing else to post today. I am working on another of Fuse’s kusudamas. So will be sure to post it in a couple of days.

Till then..

  1. You are doing great with Fuse’s designs. I’ve completed many of her kusudama and unit folds with my own variations for 16yrs and hung them around my den as well as Makoto Yamaguchi designs. Keep up the great work!

Yes, I love Fuse’s designs, find them quite fascinating!
Unfortunately, haven’t really tried many of Yamaguchi’s designs. I think I should get cracking! :)
Your den must be lovely with all those kusudamas! :)
