Week 07 (Day 06): Ninja Star Earrings

The Origami Ninja Star or Shiruken is a traditional modular origami, made from 2 squares of paper. These ninja star earrings are pretty easy to make, but since they need to be quite small, it is best to use thin, origami paper (60 gsm paper). My initial trial with chiyogami paper didn’t turn out very well, due to the thickness of the paper. Here is a quick tutorial on making these traditional ninja stars..

Week 07 (Day 05): Square Earrings

These modular square earrings are made from two pieces of paper, that are interlocked into shape. I had used magazine paper, so it turned out quite colourful. The little bits of pink and white add so much of colour and this is a combination that I will be sure to use some time soon
