Wondering if Christmas has come early and I am already making Christmas trees?? Actually these are a few of my extremely simple origami bookmarks, stacked together. These little bookmarks are cute and since they are triangular, they won’t hide any part of a page, unlike most other bookmarks. They can be folded from 2-3 inch squares. Anything bigger doesn’t look very good. I will be posting a tutorial on making these bookmarks in a few [Continued..]
Easy Heart Bookmark
Here is another heart (I have developed a fondness for these hearts!), this one is another bookmark and one created by Francis Ow. This is actually an origami heart module and these hearts can be chained together using a connector. But as a single module, these also make beautiful bookmarks.. This design is from Francis Ow’s book, Origami Hearts. As the name suggests, the book is on folding origami hearts. Quite a lot of hearts [Continued..]

The Tsuzura are actually wicker boxes that are woven from strong fibres such as bamboo. The origami tsuzura are actually sturdy little boxes made from 4 squares of paper (2 for the base and 2 for the lid). The ones I have made are from 5 inch squares and they would make lovely ring boxes. They are sturdy if made from slightly thicker paper. The first one I made was from some icy blue wrapper [Continued..]
