More Houses!

After my last post on origami houses, I found out that Roman Diaz had designed more such houses. One of them is found in the origami magazine 4 Esquinas.   I found Roman Diaz’s house a unique design to fold and enjoyed folding it! The design is such that the height and width of the house can be changed, so I guess it is possible to make houses in an ascending order of size! A Kabuto is a Samurai helmet and is a part of the Japanese armour. The origami Samurai Hat, though, is a beginner origami that takes about 2 minutes to learn! After a long time I finally got my hands on another origami book, Minigami: Mini Origami Projects for Cards, Gifts and Decorations, authored by Gay Merrill Gross. The book has quite a lot of projects on making origami for cards, including butterflies, flowers, hearts, Christmas decor, birds and quite a bit more. Evening Dress

I had made this cute evening dress initially when my sister-in-law had asked me to make a few of them for making some greeting cards. She is a very creative card-maker and felt that these origami dresses in her cards would add originality to them..
